Thomas Quast

Vice President, Business Development at Pacific Defense

Thomas Quast has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Thomas began their career in the United States Air Force, serving as an Officer and working as a Test Engineer at Edwards Air Force Base and a Systems Engineer at Wright-Patterson AFB. After leaving the military, they joined Cerro Coso Community College as an Academic Instructor, teaching math and physics courses. Thomas then transitioned to the corporate sector, starting with Allied Signal as a Program Manager in the Business and General Aviation division. Thomas'sresponsibilities included managing a new business aircraft communication system. Following this, they joined Sprint, where they held multiple roles, including Project Manager, Manager, and Director, primarily focused on business development, network development, and corporate development. Thomas then moved on to Raytheon Technologies, where they served as the Director of Strategy and Business Development before being promoted to Director of the Space Systems Product Line. Currently, they are working as the Vice President of Business Development at Pacific Defense.

Thomas Quast obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame from 1985 to 1989. Thomas then pursued a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at the same university from 1989 to 1991. Later, they attended Rockhurst University from 1998 to 2002, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the General Management Curriculum.
