Mary Younakof

Guest Artist Project Space at Pacific Design Center

Mary Younakof is an accomplished artist with extensive experience in contemporary art projects and exhibitions. Since September 2010, Mary has been associated with the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood as part of the Design Lab, focusing on ongoing artist project spaces. In August 2015, Mary participated as a Guest Artist in the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art's ICA Live! program, presenting the performance piece titled RGB, which involved audience interaction based on the RGB color model. Previously, Mary exhibited in the 343 Dresses: The Chromatic Convergence Project at Verge Center for the Arts in Sacramento in 2014 and contributed to the SPECTRA | Spectrum: 49 exhibition at Downtown Gallery, San Diego State University, highlighting diverse uses of color across various artistic mediums. Mary earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Otis College of Art and Design between 2004 and 2006, and also attended California State University, Long Beach and California State University, Los Angeles.
