Steve Sigler

Steve Sigler, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in disaster services and emergency management, currently serving as a Disaster Services NDPBA Specialist at Pacific Disaster Center since April 2023. Prior to this role, Steve managed safety and emergency management at Kapiolani Community College from April 2022 to April 2023, and held the position of Operations Planner at the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency from July 2010 to April 2022. Steve's extensive background includes directing emergency operations, managing complex events, and providing educational instruction in intercultural communication and ESL at various institutions. Steve earned a PhD in International Education and Sustainable Development from Murdoch University and holds multiple degrees in education and communication.
