Patrick McKenzie

Patrick McKenzie possesses extensive experience in engineering and business development across various industries, particularly in renewable energy and manufacturing. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development and Engineering at Alto Ingredients, Inc. since October 2011, McKenzie has held multiple leadership roles, demonstrating P&L responsibility and driving significant financial benefits for facilities. Previous positions include consulting engineer for IndustryUptime, plant engineer at Pacific Ethanol and GAF Materials Corp, and project engineer at Schweitzer-Mauduit Paper Int. A graduate of the University of Victoria with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, McKenzie also pursued business studies, complementing technical expertise with strategic insights in operational efficiencies and product development.
