Stephen Olson

Stephen Olson is a Senior Adjunct Fellow at the Pacific Forum and a Visiting Lecturer/Non-Resident Fellow at the Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance. With over 30 years of experience, Stephen has worked across Asia, the Middle East, and the United States in various senior roles in the private sector, academia, and international organizations. They began their career as an international trade negotiator in Washington DC, serving on the U.S. negotiating team for NAFTA and the U.S.-Canada Free Trade negotiations. Stephen has held positions such as President of the Pacific Basin Economic Council and Vice Chairman at ARTOC Group for Investment and Development. They hold a Master's degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York.
