Alex Doniach

Alex Doniach is an accomplished communications professional with a diverse background in strategic communications, public relations, and crisis management. Currently serving as Head of Communications at Pacific Fusion since February 2025, Alex previously held key roles at Oxford Nanopore Technologies as Senior Director of Strategic Communications and Director of Corporate Communications, focusing on impactful storytelling and media engagement. Experience at Milltown Partners LLP included leading global teams and executing successful communications strategies for significant technology advancements. Prior roles encompassed media strategy and public affairs at The OutCast Agency and Singer Associates PR, where Alex managed high-profile campaigns and strengthened client reputations. Alex started a career in politics and journalism, serving as a District Representative for the California State Senate and as a government reporter for The Commercial Appeal. Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Religion from Northwestern University.
