Caren Rangi, ONZM, FCA, currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive of the Cook Islands Development Agency of New Zealand (CIDANZ) since June 2024. Rangi is also a Council Member at Massey University and a Board Member with the Hawke's Bay Regional Economic Development Agency, Pacific Homecare, and the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Additionally, Rangi has been a Director at Pacific Cooperation Broadcasting Limited (PCBL) since May 2017 and has a rich background in governance, having worked as a Professional Governance Practitioner since August 2008. Rangi held leadership roles as Chair and Deputy Chair at Creative New Zealand until April 2024 and served as an Associate at the Centre for Social Impact New Zealand until September 2023. Rangi was also a Governor with Radio New Zealand from November 2019 to June 2023. Rangi earned a Bachelor of Business Studies in Accountancy from Massey University between 1985 and 1991.
