Joe Busic

Joe Busic has a wide range of work experience in the field of loss prevention and security. Joe started their career in 1987 in the United States Navy, where they served as a Petty Officer Second Class, responsible for operating and repairing submarine communication equipment. After their military service, they worked as a security officer for Pinkteron Security and Investigation Services, providing safety and security services at La Costa Resort and Spa. In 1993, they joined La Costa Resort and Spa as a Loss Prevention Officer/Dispatcher and later became the Loss Prevention Supervisor and Manager. From 2001 to 2018, Joe worked at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, holding various roles including Director of Loss Prevention and Area Director of Loss Prevention. In 2018, they joined Pacific Hospitality Group as the Corporate Director of Loss Prevention. Throughout their career, Joe has been involved in risk assessments, implementing loss prevention programs, training, and investigating accidents and incidents.
