Catherine Sampognaro

Catherine Sampognaro is an experienced professional in human resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at InterContinental The Clement Monterey Hotel under Pacific Hotel Management since June 2007. Prior to this role, Catherine held a similar position as Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Hotels from September 1993 to June 2007, and also managed the Human Resource Division at Park Hyatt Carmel from 2005 to 2007. Catherine's expertise encompasses various HR functions, including labor relations, union negotiations, benefit administration, and performance auditing. Catherine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University and an Associate of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Monterey Peninsula College.
