David Portier serves as the Senior Medical Director for Post-Acute Care Services at Pacific Inpatient Medical Group since August 2019 and is also a Faculty Assistant Professor of Medicine at Creighton University since 2011. Previously held roles include Medical Director for Post-Acute Care at Landmark Health and Medical Director for the Post-Acute Division at Bay Area Hospitalist Associates, where responsibilities involved oversight of operations and team workflows. David Portier has a background in oncology and hospital medicine, having served as Co-Director of the Cancer Research Institute Hospitalist Service at the University of California, San Francisco, and as an attending physician in oncology and general medicine. David Portier earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Louisiana State University.
