William Wieczorek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health promotion, substance abuse, and behavioral health research. Currently serving as the CEO and President of the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation since January 2020, William previously held the position of CEO Elect in 2019 and has contributed significantly to the organization as a Senior Research Scientist. As the founding director of the Institute for Community Health Promotion at SUNY Buffalo State, William combined multiple research centers to advance community health initiatives. Additionally, William plays an active role as an adjunct professor at the UB School of Public Health and Health Related Professions and is involved with the UB Clinical and Research Institute on Addictions as an affiliated scientist. William’s academic qualifications include a PhD in Geography from the University at Buffalo, where a strong focus on epidemiology and public health has been a hallmark of the professional journey.
