Sumbul Mashhadi

Sumbul Mashhadi currently serves as a Junior Rapporteur at the Stockholm International Water Institute, specifically for the Stockholm World Water Week, since August 2024. In addition to this role, Sumbul has been a Manager at the Pacific Institute since December 2022. Previous experience includes positions such as Manager and Insights Adviser at Xynteo from April 2020 to December 2022, Communications Officer at the International Growth Centre from November 2021 to August 2022, and Senior Associate at Dalberg from May 2019 to April 2020. Sumbul began a professional career as a Content Associate at the Centre for Civil Society, followed by a Communications Specialist role at The QED Group, and a Consultant in Media and Communications at the Ministry of External Affairs in India. Sumbul's early experience also includes work as a Communications Consultant for Water and Sanitation at Tata Trusts. Academically, Sumbul holds a Master’s degree in Communication for Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia, along with a Diploma in Advertising and Marketing Communications from Delhi University.
