Kiyon Ross

Kiyon Ross has a diverse work experience in the field of ballet. From 2001 to 2015, they served as a Soloist Dancer for the Pacific Northwest Ballet. During this time, they also held the role of Company Delegate with the American Guild of Musical Artists from 2007 to 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to the position of Next Step Program Manager, which they held until 2019. In 2015, they became a Faculty Member at the Pacific Northwest Ballet, and in 2019, they took on the role of Director of Company Operations. Currently, they serve as the Associate Artistic Director for the Pacific Northwest Ballet, a position they started in September 2022. Alongside their work with the ballet company, Kiyon Ross has also worked as a freelance Choreographer since 2005.

Kiyon Ross began their education at the Baltimore School for the Arts in 1996, where they studied dance. In 1997, they transferred to Schenly High School for one year before moving on to Professional Performing Arts High School, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Kiyon'shigher education journey started in 2011 at Seattle University, where they pursued a B.A. degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. Kiyon graduated from Seattle University in 2015 with Summa Cum Laude honors in their field of study.
