Joe Bun Keo

Joe Bun Keo is a seasoned Museum Exhibition Preparator at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art since September 2019, collaborating with the Senior Preparator on art handling for both permanent collections and loans. In addition, Joe serves as a studio assistant for several prominent artists, including Tom Burr, Olu Oguibe, and David Borawski, contributing to the creation of mixed-media sculptures and installations reflecting on memory and societal influences. Responsibilities also include managing social media for the Pacific Northwest College of Art and handling artworks for various organizations such as The Cartin Collection and Real Art Ways. Joe's academic background includes a Master of Fine Arts from the Pacific Northwest College of Art and Willamette University, alongside a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Hartford, complemented by experience as a visiting artist and lecturer at both the University of Hartford and the University of Connecticut-Stamford.
