Aaron Melville

Aaron Melville has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Aaron started their career as an attorney at the Law Offices of Aaron Melville, where they provided legal advice to businesses operating in the global market. Aaron then served as an Adjunct Professor at Champlain College, teaching in the international business program.

Melville later joined the South Dakota Board of Regents as an Export Control Officer, where they were responsible for establishing export control policies and coordinating compliance activities for the state university system. During this time, they also conducted complex commodity jurisdiction activities on new technologies and worked to protect fundamental research activities.

In 2016, Melville became the Director of Allied Arts, a position they currently hold. Aaron has also been involved in various non-profit organizations, serving as a Board Member for Ava Gallery and Art Center, Northeast Kingdom Youth Services, and Upper Valley United Way.

Since 2016, Melville has been working at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, first as a Technology Protection Officer and later as a National Security Specialist & Legal Analyst/Team Lead- Applied Analytics. Aaron Melville attended Kearns High School. After high school, they enrolled at College of Eastern Utah from 1996 to 1997 but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study. Following this, they attended Salt Lake Community College from 2000 to 2001 and earned an Associate of Science degree in General Education. Aaron then transferred to Westminster University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, they enrolled at Vermont Law and Graduate School and obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Aaron completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business at Westminster University in 2005.
