Franco Spadoni is a Mechanical Engineer II at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) since June 2020, focusing on component design for the New Glenn launch vehicle, particularly in umbilical systems and mechanisms. Prior experience includes serving as a Fluid Systems Engineer II at Blue Origin from January 2016 to June 2020, where a variety of roles spanned manufacturing engineering, test engineering, and product development for the New Shepard launch vehicle. Franco's engineering career began as a Junior Engineer at Quest Integrity, conducting drafting checks, followed by educational roles as a Tutor and Research Assistant at Washington State University. Franco also interned at PNNL and Manson Construction Co., gaining early exposure to energy research and proposal writing. Franco earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University in 2015.
