Hanna Goss has an extensive work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Hanna has held various roles in different organizations throughout their career. Hanna started their most recent role in 2020 as the S&T Communications Lead for Physical & Computational Sciences at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). In this position, they are responsible for leading communications strategy and production for the Physical and Computational Sciences Directorate. Prior to this, they worked as the S&T Communications Partner for the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Research Facility at PNNL from 2015 to 2020. In this role, they provided professional counsel and led a team in developing and implementing communications strategies for the facility. Hanna also has experience working at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as a Technical Writer, where they led the production of a national trade journal. Hanna worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Trident Technical College, where they wrote and coordinated promotional materials for various departments. Hanna also worked as a Public Relations Coordinator at the Gibbes Museum of Art and as the Director of Public Relations at the Arkansas Territorial Restoration (now Historic Arkansas Museum). Hanna began their career as a Reporter at the Arkansas Democrat (now the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette), covering a range of assignments including court and county government reporting. Throughout their career, Hanna has demonstrated strong writing, editing, and coordination skills, and has experience working with diverse media outlets and teams.
Hanna Goss obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In 2012, they also earned a certification as a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index-Master Practitioner from iPEC Coaching.
