Krista Holobar

Krista Holobar is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the News & Media Team Leader at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since September 2021, where leadership is provided to a team focused on external communications. Previously, Krista held multiple roles at the University of California, Berkeley from April 2018 to September 2021, including Digital Content Specialist and Communications Coordinator for the Berkeley International Office, overseeing outreach and engagement with international students and staff. Krista has also contributed to Modern Farmer Media and Civil Eats, significantly increasing their social media presence and audience engagement. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Linguistics with a minor in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University, complemented by an educational experience at Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry, Krista possesses robust skills in digital content strategy, social media management, and graphic design.
