Rustam Goychayev has worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since June 2016. Rustam initially served as a Post-Masters Research Associate until June 2017. Rustam then became a Nonproliferation Policy Analyst in July 2017, and later advanced to the position of Team Lead & Nonproliferation Policy Analyst in August 2022. Before joining Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Rustam worked at Microsoft as an International Trade Analyst from November 2014 to June 2016.
Rustam Goychayev obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Running Start from Bellevue College, during the period of 2004 to 2006. Rustam then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from Western Washington University, completing their studies from 2006 to 2008. Subsequently, Rustam furthered their education by attending the University of Washington, Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Studies with a focus on Peace and Security, between 2012 and 2014.
Furthermore, Rustam Goychayev has also obtained a certification in CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in July 2021.
