Samuel Rosenberg is a Strategic Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy, focusing on the Emerging Technology program's HVAC&R, water heating, controls, and thermal energy storage portfolios since January 2025. Currently serving as a Senior Associate Data Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since July 2019, Samuel has previously contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Oregon Biology and the Built Environment Center from June 2018 to June 2019, where the focus was on microbiology research. Additionally, Samuel interned as a Research Assistant in the Shumway Cardiothoracic Surgical Skills Summer Research Program in July and August 2015, studying cardiothoracic surgical skills relevant to Marfan syndrome. Samuel holds a Master of Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley School of Information (2021-2024) and a Bachelor of Science in General Science, Biology, and Computer Information and Technology from the University of Oregon (2015-2019).
