Louise Maxwell

Louise Maxwell has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Louise currently holds the position of Director of Communications at Pacific Northwest Research Institute, where they are responsible for communication initiatives including corporate messaging, media relations, and philanthropy communications. Prior to this, they worked at Seattle Children's for many years, holding various positions such as Manager of Video and Multimedia Production, Manager of Digital Media/Video/Social Media, Video Program Manager, Sr. Public Relations Specialist, and Public Relations Specialist. In these roles, they led teams, developed and executed video and social media strategies, managed various social media accounts, and handled media relations. Before joining Seattle Children's, they worked as an eBook Editor at Amazon, where they edited eBooks for the product launch of the Kindle wireless reading device. Additionally, they co-founded SeattleRealEstateTalk.com and served as a Podcast Producer, producing real estate podcasts for the website. In 2002 to 2003, they obtained a Certificate in Editing, also from the University of Washington.
