Jimmy Lin

Jimmy Lin has a strong and diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and management. Jimmy is currently working as the Vice President of Data Engineering at Pacific Premier Bank. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager of Data Services at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union from 2011 to 2021, where they led a team and implemented various data initiatives to support business decision-making. Before that, Jimmy worked as a Data Architect at SchoolsFirst and was responsible for establishing best practices and implementing new technologies to modernize the data framework. Jimmy also worked as a Lead Development Database Administrator at Irvine Company and played a crucial role in delivering IT projects for the Resort at Pelican Hill Project. Jimmy's earlier experience includes working as a Senior SQL Database Administrator at EarthLink and as a Senior Engineer at Sapient. Jimmy Lin completed their B.S. in Information and Computer Science at UC Irvine from 1994 to 1998. In 2020 to 2021, they attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Program, earning a Certificate in Leadership and Management. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including Learning Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Learning REST APIs from LinkedIn in 2021. Jimmy also obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2020.
