Gracie Wright Balistreri

Gracie Wright Balistreri is an experienced drama teacher and theater arts instructor currently teaching at Monterey Peninsula Unified School District and Carmel Unified School District since August 2023 and August 2021, respectively. Balistreri directs after-school productions at Seaside High School and teaches at Monte Vista Elementary School through Pacific Repertory Theatre, earning a $10,000 grant for the program. Previous roles include a dance teacher at The Stage School, a video editor and project manager for Custom Broadway, and a social media specialist for Broadway, among others. Balistreri holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre from the University of California, Berkeley, and has received training from The A.C.T. Conservatory in Shakespeare.
