Katie Swanson

Katie Swanson is a skilled Human Factors Engineer currently employed at Pacific Science & Engineering Group, Inc. since March 2022. Previously, Katie served as the Senior Design Project Team Lead at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, where the focus was on usability testing for All-In-One Point of Sale Systems. Additional experience includes roles as an Entrepreneurship Student Ambassador at NC State, a NAVSEA student intern in the Human-Integration Engineer Department, and a Research and Product Development Intern at Lindy Biosciences, Inc. Katie has also contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Nam's Brain-Computer Interface & Neuroergonomics Lab and as a Teaching Assistant for the Engineering in the 21st Century course. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from NC State, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering.
