Michael Norton

Michael Norton, CPA, CFP® has a diverse work experience. Michael has been working as the Chief Financial Officer at Pacifico Energy Group since March 2019. Prior to that, from December 2016 to March 2019, they were a Financial Advisor at AdvicePeriod. Before joining AdvicePeriod, they worked at PwC from October 2012 to December 2016, where they held the positions of Sr. Associate - Mergers & Acquisitions and Tax Senior Associate. From July 2010 to October 2012, Michael worked as an Analyst at Calvin Klein Studio (Calvin Klein's Family Office). Michael gained internship experience at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in 2009 and at the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia in 2009. In 2008, they interned at Calvin Klein Studio.

Michael Norton, CPA, CFP®, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Financial Applications from Southern Methodist University, obtained from 2006 to 2010. Michael also pursued additional studies at Curtin University in 2009. Michael later achieved the CPA designation from the California State Board of Accountancy in 2013 and became a Certified Financial Planner through the CFP Board in 2018. Currently, they are working towards completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, expected to be attained in 2025.
