Hiroki Matsuo

Hiroki Matsuo has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Hiroki is currently the Director at SSE Pacifico K.K. since October 2021. Prior to this, Hiroki served as the President & CEO at Pacifico Energy K.K. from June 2019 onwards. Hiroki also held the position of Senior Vice President at the same company from April 2017 to May 2019. During their tenure at Pacifico Energy K.K., Hiroki was actively involved in leading utility-scale solar project development in Japan, overseeing tasks such as land negotiation, permit consultation, environmental impact assessment, and power purchase agreements with utilities.

Before their time at Pacifico Energy K.K., Hiroki worked at Eurus Energy America Corporation as a Development Manager from October 2010 to March 2013. In this role, they were responsible for greenfield solar project development and wind asset acquisition in the US and Canada. Hiroki also managed the day-to-day wind energy sales and trading of renewable energy certificates in the ERCOT merchant market, Texas.

Hiroki also has experience at Eurus Energy Holdings, where they worked as a Manager from April 2010 to September 2010. In this role, they were involved in strategic planning for solar power project development in the Asia-Pacific region, including site selection, power output estimation, and facility design.

Before joining Eurus Energy Holdings, Hiroki was an Assistant Manager at Toyota Tsusho Corporation from April 2006 to March 2010. Hiroki'sresponsibilities included bulk water resource development projects in Southeast Asia and carbon credits trading (CDM/JI). Hiroki played a key role in project origination and negotiation, as well as monitoring and reporting for CDM/JI projects in China and Thailand.

Overall, Hiroki Matsuo has a strong background in renewable energy project development, strategic planning, and international project management.

Hiroki Matsuo obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kyushu, where they studied from 1999 to 2006. Additionally, from 2003 to 2004, they attended the University of Hohenheim for further studies in Agricultural Economics. The degree obtained from the University of Hohenheim is not specified.
