Peng Li

Peng Li has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1991, they worked as a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Ottawa, teaching Systems and Control. In the same year, they also served as an NSERC Research Fellow at the Canadian Space Agency, focusing on Space Station and Technology. Moving forward, they joined Logic Installation as a Senior Research Engineer, specializing in Multivariable Supervisory Process Control. In 1995, they transitioned to Advanced Process Control Ltd as a Project Manager and Minority Owner, overseeing Supervisory Process Control Software. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at ABB, playing a significant role in EMS/SCADA and Energy Market. Peng Li then joined Nortel Networks in 2000 as a Senior Engineer, primarily working on Optical Network Systems. Lastly, they became a Principal Engineer/Planner at PacifiCorp in 2002, focusing on T&D System Operations and Advanced Applications.

Peng Li holds a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa. Peng also has a M.A,Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Xiamen University.
