Jorge Luis Rodriguez, PE

Jorge Luis Rodriguez, PE has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jorge Luis is currently the Chief Executive Officer and founder of the Instituto de Libertad Económica para Puerto Rico, where they are responsible for establishing and leading a free market think tank. Prior to this, Jorge was the Founder, President, and CEO of PACIV, a company where they provided strategic direction and oversaw the success of the organization. Jorge Luis also held leadership roles at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Westinghouse Electric Company, and Westinghouse Electric Corp, where they gained experience in control systems and manufacturing engineering. Additionally, Jorge has pursued further education at Harvard University as an ALI Senior Fellow, to expand their knowledge and contribute to the social and public sectors, focusing on issues such as poverty, prosperity, and economic development in Puerto Rico.

Jorge Luis Rodriguez, PE has a strong education background in various fields. Jorge Luis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University between 1985 and 1989. Later on, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Operations Management at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras from 1994 to 1996.

Continuing their educational journey, Rodriguez attended the Harvard Business School from 2007 to 2009, where they enrolled in the Owner/President Management Program (OPM38) with a concentration in Business. More recently, in 2020 and 2021, they attended Harvard University, where they completed a Fellowship in Advanced Leadership.

Moreover, Jorge Luis Rodriguez holds additional certifications as a Professional Engineer (PE). Jorge Luis received this certification from the CIAPR Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico as well as from the State of Indiana.
