Lauren Singer

Founder & CEO at Package Free

Lauren Singer began their career in 2011 as an Intern for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. Lauren then went on to become an Intern for the NYC Mayor's Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability in 2012. In the same year, they also founded Trash is for Tossers. In 2014, they were hired as the Sustainability Manager for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and also founded The Simply Co. In 2017, they became the Chairperson of the Board and Founder & CEO of Package Free. Finally, in 2021, they became a Board Member of The Lower East Side Ecology Center.

Lauren Singer attended New York University from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies.
