Barbara Hamilton

Barbara Hamilton has over 40 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Barbara is currently employed as the Senior Director of Process Technology at Packaging Corporation of America, where they focus on process control and automation, as well as recruiting technical talent. Prior to this, Barbara worked at Siemens Energy as the Director of Business Development, Digital Service Solutions, where they developed service-based solutions enhanced by digital tools and applications for power-producing customers. Barbara also worked at Siemens as the Global Head of Digital Operations, leading the company's digitalization strategy. Barbara has experience in sales, operations, and business development at ANDRITZ AUTOMATION, where they managed teams and delivered value to customers in the Pulp and Paper, Mineral Processing, and Lime industries. Barbara also worked at Emerson Process Management as a Program Manager and Senior Industrial Energy Consultant, overseeing the launch of Energy Advisor software and delivering automation solutions for industrial customers. Earlier in their career, Barbara held roles at The Fitch Company, Champion International Corporation, International Paper, and Union Camp Corp, where they gained expertise in engineering, project management, and process control.

Barbara Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine, completing their studies from 1978 to 1982.
