Benjamin Frank has extensive work experience in various scientific roles. Benjamin started their career at International Paper in 1996 as a Senior Research Associate, where they focused on moisture/fiber interactions and developed ink jet papers for different applications. In 1999, they joined Masonite, a division of International Paper, as a Scientist, contributing to product development for fiberboard products. Their significant achievement was redirecting the company away from a proposed siding development method due to long-range product risks. In 2001, they became the Director of Materials Research and Innovation at PCA, where they managed a lab team involved in customer service, product development, and fundamental research. Benjamin also led projects with a significant bottom line impact.
Benjamin Frank received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics, as well as two Master of Science (MS) degrees. One of their MS degrees was in Physics, while the other was in Colloids, Polymers, and Surfaces in Chemical Engineering. Benjamin attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1991 to 1995 for their education.
