Ron Robertson

Ron Robertson has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Ron held the position of Director - Technical Training and Development - IT at Packaging Corporation of America since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as an Enterprise End-User Systems Manager, where they managed a team of 6 and provided support for 10,000 desktops at 130 locations across the U.S. Ron also developed and managed a successful IT internship program. Before joining Package Corporation of America, Ron worked at Advanced Network Design, Inc. as a Principal from September 1997 to May 2005. Ron was responsible for overseeing the business operations and managing the company. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Business Systems and Solutions, Inc. (BSSI) from October 1994 to November 1997, where they consulted on network design and implementation. Ron also served as a Network Consultant at TechLaw, Inc. from October 1993 to November 1994. Ron has a strong background in IT operations and management.

Ron Robertson obtained an AAS degree in Electronics from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1992-1993. Ron also holds several certifications, including the CompTIA Project+ Certification in 2007, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification in 1999, CompTIA Network+ Certification in 1999, CompTIA A+ Certification in 1999, and Wireshark Certified Network Analyst (WCNA) from Wireshark University in 2017. Additionally, they obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in August 2020.
