Justin Southworth has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Justin started their career as an Intern at LightSys Technology Services in 2014, where they added a MIME driver to the existing ERP software. Justin then worked as a Software Developer at Love Justice International from 2014 to 2017.
In 2012, Justin joined Taylor University, where they held various roles such as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant, Student Tutor, and Software Developer. Justin also worked as an Undergraduate Mathematics Researcher during this time.
From 2015 to 2023, Justin worked at Raytheon, initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. Justin led a team in integrating the Mission Flight Management Software into the V-22 Osprey product line, enabling RNP RNAV flight procedure capabilities. Justin also integrated the Silent Knight Radar into the CV-22 Osprey's avionics software, allowing for operation in low-visibility environments.
Currently, Justin is employed at Packetcraft, Inc. as a Senior DevOps Engineer since 2023.
Justin Southworth attended Taylor University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Systems with a minor in Mathematics.
