Martin Walker

Martin Walker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Martin currently works at Packmatic as a Software Developer, starting in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Contentful from 2017 to 2023, with roles including Full Stack Developer, Web Developer, Junior Web Developer, and Community Manager. As a Community Manager, they organized, hosted, and gave talks at meetups for software developers. Martin also worked at We Sparkle as a Frontend Developer in 2020. In 2017, they had an internship at G2Planet as an Inbound Marketing and Design Intern, where they managed inbound marketing efforts and website design. Martin also interned at Freshwater Society in 2016 as a Consultant Intern and at Civis Analytics as a Business Development Intern. Finally, Martin interned at UnitedHealth Group in 2015 as an Innovation Intern, where they supported Entrepreneurs in Residence and conducted market research.

Martin Walker attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 2013 to 2017. During their time there, they focused on studying Entreprenurial Management and Finance. In 2016, they also briefly attended the CIEE Global Institute in Berlin, where they studied Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
