John P. Doran

John P. Doran is a Professor of Computer Game Design at George Mason University Korea, with extensive experience in game development and education. Doran has authored and reviewed several technical titles for Packt Publishing since 2012, focusing on programming and game development. Prior to the current role, Doran served as an Instructor in Residence at Bradley University, teaching courses in game design and serving as a faculty advisor for the NASA SUITS program. Experience at DigiPen Institute of Technology includes leading the DigiPen-Ubisoft Campus Game Programming Program and working as a graphic designer for various companies. Doran holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Bradley University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Game Design from DigiPen Institute of Technology.
