Marijn Kroes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, where they developed data analysis tools and supervised students. They then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at New York University, investigating brain mechanisms of emotional learning and memory. At Radboudumc, Marijn served as an Assistant Professor in Cognitive Neuroscience, focusing on emotional learning, memory, and decision-making. They also worked as a Data Science Consultant and Project Coordinator/Scrum Master at VIQTOR DAVIS NL, ProRail, and the Landelijk Coördinatiecentrum Patiënten Spreiding (LCPS), where they developed AI solutions, managed projects, and collaborated with business experts. Currently, Marijn is a Senior Strategic Program Manager at Pacmed.
Marijn Kroes received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam from 2002 to 2005. Following this, from 2005 to 2008, Kroes pursued a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience and Cognition at Utrecht University. Finally, from 2008 to 2013, Kroes attended Radboud University, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cognitive Neuroscience.
