Benjamin Piggin

Benjamin Piggin has a diverse range of work experience. Benjamin currently works as a Software Engineer at Pactio since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Theodo UK from 2020 to 2022, where they held the role of Architect Developer and Team Lead. During this time, they delivered multiple products to production using various technologies and mentored three developers. Benjamin also worked as a Developer at Theodo UK from 2020 to 2021, focusing on React and Django development and utilizing Lean and Scrum methodologies. Benjamin also gained experience as a Software Developer at TPP from 2018 to 2019, where they worked on Java and OOP design principles for clinical software and contributed to the creation of a cross-platform architecture for app development. Additionally, they served as a Theatre Director at St Hilda's College Drama Society in 2014-2015, where they coordinated Oxford's first live-streamed theatre performance, wrote and directed an adaptation, and led rehearsals.

Benjamin Piggin completed their education at the University of Oxford from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Physics degree. Prior to that, they attended Solihull School from 2003 to 2014, where they achieved excellent results in their A-Levels, obtaining A* grades in Physics, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics, as well as 9A* and 1A grades in their GCSEs. In addition to their academic achievements, Benjamin also holds certifications including "Circl Leader as Coach" from Circl® obtained in February 2022, and "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" and "AWS Certified Developer – Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in December 2020 and February 2022, respectively.
