Padagis-Israel is a leading pharmaceutical company. We are dedicated to taking care of our consumers and patients and to offering a wide variety of Rx, biosimilars, non-prescription drugs, generic drugs, glucose meters, medical equipment and consumer products. Our customers include hospitals, health funds and pharmacies in the institutional markets, private markets and pharmacy chains. The company has been active in Israel since 1961, founded as "Agis" company. In 2005, Agis was purchased by Perrigo (Perrigo Company PLC) the large OTC pharmaceutical company from the US. In 2021 the Rx Pharmaceuticals Business, now known as Padagis LLC company, was sold to the Altaris fund, whose main business is a venture capital fund for the medical field. Padagis currently employs around 850 employees in Israel and is one of the largest employers in the Negev area. More than 600 of our employees are employed in the development and production factory located in Yeruham, and the rest are employed in the commercial and logistics facility located in the Shoham Industrial Park area. פאדאגיס-ישראל הינה חברה מובילה בתחום הפרמצבטיקה ושיווק תרופות. חרטנו על דיגלנו לדאוג לקהל הצרכנים והמטופלים שלנו ולהציע מגוון רחב של תרופות מרשם, תרופות ביו-סימילריות, תרופות ללא מרשם, תרופות גנריות, מדי סוכר רציפים, ציוד רפואי ומוצרי צריכה. על לקוחותינו נמנים כלל בתי החולים, קופות החולים, בתי המרקחת ורשתות הפארם. החברה פעילה בישראל עוד משנת 1961 עת הוקמה כ"אגיס". בשנת 2005 נרכשה אגיס על ידי חברת פריגו ענקית התרופות ללא מרשם מארה"ב. בשנת 2021 נמכרה פעילות תרופות המרשם, שפאדאגיס ישראל חלק ממנה, לקרן אלטריס שעיקר עיסוקה קרן הון סיכון לתחום הרפואי. פאדאגיס מעסיקה כיום כ- 850 עובדים.ות בישראל ונמנית על המעסיקות הגדולות בנגב. למעלה מ- 600 מעובדינו מועסקים במפעל לפיתוח וייצור תרופות גנריות בירוחם, בעוד המרכז המסחרי והלוגיסטי ממוקם בפארק התעשייה בשוהם.
