Gerd Overbeck

Gerd Overbeck has extensive work experience in the mobility and consulting industry. Gerd started their career as a Physiotherapist at Reeder Unternehmensgruppe in 2008 before transitioning to an Interim Manager role within the same company. In 2010, Gerd worked as an Assistant to the Project Leader at Limest Market Research. Gerd then joined diffferent in 2012, first as a Working Student and later as an Interim Consultant.

In 2013, Gerd joined choice GmbH as a Project Manager and Consultant, where they worked until 2015. Gerd then moved on to Arriva Group, where they served as a Senior Mobility and Innovation Manager from 2015 to 2018.

Gerd's career then took him to Deutsche Bahn, where they held the roles of Senior Manager Smart City and Lead New Mobility before joining Hacon in 2019. At Hacon, Gerd initially served as the Lead New Mobility Services and later became the Head of Shared Mobility & Partnerships.

In 2021, Gerd joined Padam Mobility as the Head of DACH, where they are currently employed.

Gerd Overbeck holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics from FernUniversität in Hagen. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Sociology from the University of Potsdam. In addition to their formal education, Gerd has obtained various certifications, including Professional Agile Leadership (PAL I) from Scrum.org in December 2021, Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in 2020, Design Coach from Sebastian F. Müller in August 2019, and PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (exact dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided).
