Chris Werle

Chris Werle is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in crisis management, marketing, and strategic communications. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Crisis and Critical Issues Management at Padilla since June 2022, Chris previously operated Werle Consulting, providing strategic communications and marketing expertise to various sectors, including collegiate athletics and professional sports teams. From 2013 to 2016, Chris held the position of Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of Minnesota, focusing on stakeholder engagement and departmental restructuring. Additional roles include Vice President at Estee Lauder Group, Executive Vice President at Weber Shandwick, and Group Marketing Manager at Microsoft Games Division. Chris holds a Bachelor's of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies from St. Cloud State University, and has contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Advertising.
