Khalil Khouri's work experience begins in 2012 as an Engineering Intern at Piece-makers Llc Manuafacturing, fabrication, and aviation tooling. Here, they worked on machining and designing custom aviation parts and surgical tools. Khalil then moved on to a Laboratory Researcher role at Harvard Tissue Engineering Lab in 2013. From there, they worked as an Engineer at Genting and as a Database Engineer at Renaissance Trading Corp - myCondoPlans. In 2014, Khouri became a Product Design Engineer at Sequel Medical Design, where they assisted in the full product design of a flexible endoscopic stapler and prototyped laparoscopic anchor ports. In 2016, they held a Project Engineer position at Hologic, Inc., and later that year became a System Engineer at Duro UAS, where they focused on mechanical and computer systems for an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) project. In 2017, Khouri worked as a Project Engineer at Lipocosm LLC before co-founding PADL, where they currently serve as the COO. Overall, Khouri's experience spans a range of engineering and project management roles in various industries.
Khalil Khouri began their education at Boston University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace. Khalil attended the university's College of Engineering from 2008 to 2014. During their time at Boston University, Khouri specialized in the field of Materials within Mechanical Engineering. Khalil then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at Columbia University, where they studied from 2015 to 2017.
