Scarlleth Castro

Scarlleth Castro has a solid work experience in the field of development and data science. Scarlleth started their career as a Full-stack Developer intern at Padoa in 2020. Later, they worked as a Research intern in Image Based Rendering at IGN - French Mapping Agency, where they developed a "historical street view" using ancient images for texturing a 3D urban model. Scarlleth optimized the method to increase the number of images used simultaneously. Scarlleth also interned as a Data Scientist at Zelros, where they conducted research to improve an OCR model for reading handwritten documents. Scarlleth implemented a solution that reduced storage space usage and increased accuracy. Scarlleth also designed a new OCR model using the Transformers architecture, achieving higher accuracy. In 2023, Scarlleth joined Padoa again as a Full Stack Developer.

Scarlleth Castro received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA in 2018. Scarlleth then pursued further studies and obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Vision/Computer Graphics from École Polytechnique from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, in 2021 to 2022, they earned a Master's degree in Computer Vision/Computer Graphics from Sorbonne Université.
