Edward Sample

Edward Sample is an experienced director specializing in employee relations and people operations. Currently serving as the Director of Employee Relations and People Operations at Pagaya since January 2022, Edward is responsible for developing and executing policies and initiatives related to talent development and management. Prior to this role, Edward held the position of Director of Employee Relations at Canon Business Process Services, offering strategic guidance on employee relations practices. Edward's legal expertise includes serving as a Labor & Employment Associate at Frank & Associates, P.C., and experience as Interim Employment Counsel at The Guardian Life Insurance Company. With a solid foundation in labor and employment law from roles with the State of Texas Office of the Attorney General and New York City Corporation Counsel, Edward also brings extensive litigation experience from tenure at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
