Kevin Chen

Technical Artist at Pahdo Labs

Kevin Chen has worked in the industry since 2014. Kevin began as an Intern at BioDigital, Inc. in 2014, followed by a Freelance role at Hub Strategy & Communication. In 2015, they took on the role of 3D Artist at Katapult. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Technical Artist at Dots, where they were responsible for implementing custom shaders, post-process effects, import pipeline, day-night system, weather system, animations, and movement/emotion AI (Behavior Tree/State machines) with C# and Shaderlab in Unity. Kevin was also responsible for creating an export/import pipeline and custom shaders with HLSL/node graphs. Additionally, they were responsible for reviewing and giving feedback for all asset creation related-processes (Modeling/Texturing/UVs). In 2021, they moved to The Mill, where they also worked as a Technical Artist. Currently, they are employed at Pahdo Labs as a Technical Artist.

Kevin Chen attended John P Stevens High School from 2008 to 2012, where they earned their High School diploma. Kevin then attended the School of Visual Arts from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Art.
