Prasoon Sharma is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in fostering innovation and supporting entrepreneurship. As the Founder and CEO of WUS, Prasoon aims to empower 500 million workers in India and 3 billion globally. Prasoon holds multiple influential roles, including Senator and Member of the Global Startup Committee at the World Business Angels Investment Forum, and Senior Visiting Fellow at Pahle India Foundation. Additionally, Prasoon serves as a mentor at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and has held directorial positions, such as at the India Global Centre for China Studies. Prasoon has contributed to the International Ahimsa Foundation and the International Churchill Society as an Advisory Board Member and Pentland-Churchill scholar, respectively. With a strong educational background, including a Global EMPA from NYU and advanced software engineering from King's College London, Prasoon combines expertise in finance, innovation, and entrepreneurship to drive impactful initiatives.

Pahle India Foundation (PIF)

Pahle India is dedicated to the task of taking India to the top rung of country economic rankings in the world within this century. The aim is to contribute to the needed paradigm shift in development thinking and practices in India to achieve this aspirational goal. Pahle India's mission is to contribute innovative ideas for designing the road map for India becoming a high-income country by 2050 when it celebrates the centenary of the Republic. In designing this road map it roots itself in the Indian experience; draws upon the globally best available economic, social and political analysis on sustainable prosperity; and draws lessons from success stories of sustainable development from within India. Pahle India's highly qualified team of researchers specialises in analysing India's political economy and its interaction with the global economic trends. Its researchers have done extensive work on preparing vision documents and development blueprints for political parties and state governments. It has expertise in a range of sectors including education. It will now work on preparing road maps to sustainable prosperity by 2050 for each of the states of India with particular emphasis on replicating the successful development experiences particularly in education and health from different parts of India. These Road Maps/Blueprints will be made freely available to researchers and policy makers. The objective is also to make Pahle India a dynamic portal of case studies successful development within India and place them in the public domain to encourage wider learning. The portal will also include interactive state-level data base for facilitating cross-state comparisons and drawing relevant lessons for the future.
