Karla Berdichevsky Feldman

Dr. Karla Berdichevsky Feldman trained as a medical doctor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and holds a master’s degree in public health in developing countries from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has 20+ years of experience in sexual and reproductive health program and policy design initiatives in Mexico and the Latin America and Caribbean region. She has led both qualitative and quantitative research and has also conducted projects in health communications, advocacy and multisector partnership building. She has collaborated with a broad variety of civil society organizations, United Nations Agencies as well as pharmaceutical companies. Since 2019, she is director general of the National Center for Gender Equity and Reproductive Health at the Mexico Ministry of Health.
