Christian Dietiker

Christian Dietiker is a Backend Scala Engineer at Paidy since August 2022, responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems, as well as implementing business logic, data models, APIs, and integrations using Scala, Python, Rust, and related technologies. Prior to this role, Christian worked as a teacher at the Gyoda Board of Education from April 2022 to August 2022, creating lesson plans and materials in an English and Japanese environment, and taught at Interac from March 2019 to March 2022, motivating elementary and junior high school students and assisting Japanese teachers. Earlier experience includes serving as a remote technician at teleNetwork from June 2015 to February 2018, providing technical support for internet and phone services, and as a sales and leasing agent at Ambling Management Company from February 2014 to May 2015, managing leasing contracts and property showings. Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, obtained in May 2017.
