Alican Bozkurt

Alican Bozkurt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alican is currently employed at Paige as a Senior AI Scientist since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an AI Scientist at Paige from June 2020 to February 2022.

Alican also worked as a Ph.D. Candidate at Northeastern University from August 2014 to May 2020. Alican gained research experience as a Research Scientist Intern at Uber from June 2018 to September 2018.

Before pursuing their Ph.D., Alican was involved in different roles at Bilkent University. Alican worked as a Ph.D. Student from September 2013 to August 2014, an M.Sc. Student from September 2011 to August 2013, a Project Engineer in July 2011, and an Undergraduate Student from September 2007 to June 2011.

Furthermore, Alican has internship experiences at TUBITAK in August 2010, Aselsan in August 2009, and served as an Executive Committee Vice-Chair at Bilkent IEEE Student Branch from May 2009 to May 2010. Alican also participated as an ISBIR Member in IEEE from October 2008 to May 2009.

Alican Bozkurt's education history includes obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University, from 2011 to 2013. Alican also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University, earned between 2007 and 2011. Before entering university, Alican attended TED Ankara College Foundation High School, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate (IB) program specializing in Math (HL), Chemistry (HL), Physics (HL), Turkish A1 (SL), English A2 (SL), and Biology (SL). Additionally, during high school, Alican focused on a Math-Science track.
