Donna Flaherty

Donna Flaherty is a certified physician assistant with extensive experience in neurology and pain management. Currently serving at Pain Specialists of Charleston, P.A. since November 2022, Donna previously worked at Southern Coast Specialists as a physician assistant in a private practice focusing on chronic pain. Prior to that, Donna spent over a decade at UPMC, where responsibilities included providing inpatient care within the Neurosurgery department. Additionally, Donna held an academic position as an Associate Clinical Professor at Chatham University, mentoring physician assistant students. Donna's career began in medical device sales with LifeScan. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Chatham University and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
