Michael Naveh

COO at PainReform

Michael Naveh has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michael started their career in 1983 as a Fellow Researcher at the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology at TLV University, conducting trials on E. coli laboratory strains. Michael continued their work in the same role until 1995.

In 1990, they co-founded Biovac Ltd, a private veterinary biologicals and pharmaceutical producer, where they served as COO and CSO. Michael was responsible for building up the biological plant and overseeing production.

From 1992 to 1998, Michael worked as a Consultant in agri-biological projects in various countries, providing guidance and education to Israeli companies.

In 1999, they joined GiGi Internet Media Ltd as VP Marketing, where they managed advertising campaigns and customer service for internet-based gaming sites.

In 2004, Michael became the CEO of Renopharm Ltd, a medicinal chemistry start-up focused on developing novel molecules for the cardiovascular pharmaceutical industry. Michael managed the company's preclinical trials, financing, and negotiations.

From 2005 to 2009, they served as CEO of Vecta Ltd, a pharmaceutical R&D company. Michael oversaw the development of novel combination drugs for the treatment of upper digestive tract pathologies.

Since 2009, Michael has been the COO of PainReform Ltd, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing pain treatment products. Michael drives the company's mission to offer pain therapeutics with significant benefits to physicians and patients.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including pharmaceutical R&D, product development, clinical trials, marketing, and business development.

Michael Naveh began their education in 1964 by enrolling at Universität Zürich, where they pursued a degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Michael completed their studies in 1969, obtaining a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. In 1971, Naveh enrolled at Tel Aviv University to undertake postgraduate studies in Avian Medicine, which they completed in 1974. Later on, in 1987 they attended Tel-Aviv University Recanati School for a brief period to study Business Administration. Finally, from 1988 to 1992, they attended Tichon Hadash, where they achieved a graduate matriculation degree with a focus on Biology.
